Hello! I'd like to join the darkficcollections in dreamwidth (not to post, but mostly to read) but i'm confused with how to join the forum? I haven't used dreamwidth in ages and I have a feeling I need to ask permission before joining. Thank you!

1 - Create your own DW account
2 - Add a note in your profile confirming you are 18+ (or you’ve reached the age of majority in your country of residence)
3 - Go to https://darkficcollections.dreamwidth.org/profile
4 - READ THE ENTIRE PROFILE
5 - On the right-hand side of the profile (IIRC), there is a “join community” link. Click it and submit a request to join the DarkFicCollections group
6 - WAIT PATIENTLY. You are not automatically admitted. RK goes through the requests for admission whenever she can and will admit you as long as you’ve followed the rules laid out in the community profile. Sometimes it takes a few days. We aren’t exclusionary by any means–we just vet you to make sure you are who you say you are and that you’re the age of majority. This is to protect all members and their privacy.

If you applied to be a member of the DFC but haven’t been approved yet, please let me know! I am a mod for the comm, but I am not the administrator. (Only the administrator can view/approve the membership request list.)
